By accident, I heard someone saying that this was an excellent anti-biotic. I bought it and found that to be true. I am very resistant to medical anti-biotics. This: Source Naturals Wellness Oil of Oregano , 1 fl oz (29.57 ml) has proven to be a God-send. The negatives: smells bad but I use it only at night; burns for awhile after rubbing on the skin (not badly). (Keep your fingers that have the Oil on them away from sensitive areas: eyes, nose, etc.) I cannot use it in a drink as I cannot stand the smell that close to my nose. The positives: as stated -- excellent antibiotic. I take it when I feel rundown (my system's signal that I am catching something). Sometimes I need to take it for a couple of days (few drops rubbed into skin -- not the same place each time). Whether I am catching a flu or infection, it takes care of it. I rarely get sick or get infections any longer. I used to catch everything that went around and many infections (repeated staph that antibiotics would not help). I do not take it all the time, only as needed. I feel much better all of the time, now. Also, I have a Chihuahua who gets repeated ear infections. The vet prescribed antibiotics several times and has suggested surgery. I use this by rubbing it into the skin next to the ears, usually twice per week and he becomes his usual perky, friendly self again, driving me to wits end with his little "happy dance" to get me to hold him so he can wear his tongue off licking my hands! Fleas and mites don't seem to like this either but the only evidence I have of that is not finding any on my dogs, upon which I use this occasionally. Otherwise, they continually pick up something when we go on walks. I want to stress that I use this on my dogs and myself only occasionally.
The money that I spend on this product saves a lot in doctor's office fees & pharmacy fees.
I have not used Oil of Oregano from another manufacturer so cannot testify as to their credibility. I cannot say enough praise for this company and their Oil of Oregano. I have gone through two of the bottles in 2 years time. I used it more frequently in the beginning. I do not have to use it as often, now. |

I've been using Oil of Oregano for some time now, and this product works great. For those that are not aware of its benefits, Oil of Oregano is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal. It can be used topically or internally... for a variety of ailments. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a bit more natural means of handling everyday ailments. (Common cold, allergies, etc.)

| Good quality product for immune support! We get healthy naturally from sore throats & common colds. A few drops in water can relieve the foggy, headache-y feel within minutes, drug-free. Also can be used effectively with a vaporizer. |

| I tried this to clear up a long-standing pneumonic condition and it worked quickly and completely by adding a few drops to a beverage once a day. Since then I have used it topically on several skin conditions and it totally destroyed whatever infective agents caused them. Make me smell like a pizza but well worth it. |
Seems to work, definitely potent

| I bought oil of oregano because of what I read online and thought would be good to keep around to ward off colds, etc. I bought this brand specifically because of reviews and product details. Came in handy when someone around me was sick and I started feeling like I was getting it. Put a few drops in about 8 oz of water and symptoms stopped. I can't prove was this, but this stuff is definitely potent! I got a little bit of it full strength on my skin and it burned! You will want to drink a lot of water afterwards. An fyi online, I read that this MAY possibly block iron absorption, so if you take it regularly, particularly every day, something you may want to consider or look into, particularly if you don't get much iron. |
